The program is specifically designed to meet the needs of women and women of colour who aspire for leadership but do not have access to such training.

The program is also designed for women who are aspiring entrepreneurs, and are interested in developing their leadership skills and capacity. Learning how to first lead themselves, relate to the business world, network and experience working together under a unique set of circumstances.

Participants will be encouraged to go on a personal journey of self-discovery. They will be encouraged to look at what drives them to aspire to become leaders in their organizations, businesses, communities and homes.

This program provides participants with the tools they need as women, working together to maximize their leadership potential.

Some voices have been largely absent from the decision-making table and Eleanor Roosevelt said, ” Too often the great decisions are originated and given form in bodies made up wholly of men or so completely dominated by them that whatever of special value women have to offer is shunted aside without expression.” (Women lead the Way, Linda Tarr-Whelan, 2009).  This view hold true for today.

Research has shown that having at least one-third women making decisions has a powerful positive outcome. The leadership program is designed to empower, further develop self-awareness and help women define their own destiny.

Participants will learn from each other, share experiences of successes and challenges, as well as understand what it takes to lead themselves and others.
